The left-hand twill selvedge has been a best-selling staple for us for many years now. We continue to carry it because of its hardy nature and propensity for fades. We say this to acknowledge that the Sky Blue variation was a no-brainer. Unlike the standard LHT, this will not be around forever. This seasonal color is like its light blue predecessors of the past, but better. It reminds us a lot of the heavy version of the Recylced Selvedge which was released a few years ago. It has the structure and texture we all look for in raw denim, just in a much lighter color option. One of the things we dig the most is those vertical lines you can see from the start (these lines are more hidden in the OG version). We've come this far without even mentioning what left=hand twill means. 98% of the raw denim and twill garments you see in the market are woven from the right-hand twill method. For left-hand twill, they invert the direction of the weave which exposes more of the weft yarns. This gives the fabric a much faster break-in period; that, combined with the light blue color will have these quickly turning into your favorite pair of Summer denim. One final note is about the unique selvedge ID. Left-hand twills commonly have two different legs to their selvedge ticker. N&F's variation is a solid white selvedge with a single dashed ticker.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 34 waist in these. He decided to go up one size from what he wears in the Weird Guy. This round is very roomy in the waist. At 36", they felt quite oversized in the waist. To get a more proper fit he would likely go down to a size 33 and belt them as the leg opening would get too small if he went down to a size 32. Tommy is 5'10", 163lbs with a 33-34" waist.
*The Super Guy is a skinny fit with a medium rise, a slim top block, and a taper from knee to hem.*
